Editorial policy
Prime Food Review aims to explain food information accurately, fairly and in language readers can check against the material in front of them. We make the limits of an explanation clear rather than presenting a label as the whole story.
Accuracy and clarity
We check factual statements against relevant, reliable material before publication and distinguish established definitions from interpretation. We explain terms in context, avoid overstating what a label detail proves and revise wording when it could mislead.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for reader value, not to promise favourable coverage. A product mention or commercial relationship does not determine an editorial conclusion. We do not present personal preferences as universal rules.
Corrections
If a reader identifies a possible error, we review the point and correct confirmed mistakes. Significant changes are made clear in the relevant article so readers can understand what changed; clarification is added when wording needs context.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid or otherwise partner-supported material is clearly labelled where it appears and kept distinct from independent editorial work. Some illustrations are AI-generated; when used, they are identified as such and are not presented as documentary photographs.
A label is a starting point, not a verdict.
We explain what food information can show, what it leaves out and which questions help readers compare products for themselves.
